With Justin Stockton’s aptitude for being the No. 1 running back somewhat unknown, Texas Tech needs to develop a reliable second option. Even Stockton takes the job and runs with it, the Red Raiders need insurance against Stockton getting hurt or fatigued. The returning possibilities include 5-foot-7, 215-pound senior Quinton White, 5-7, 190-pound sophomore Demarcus Felton and 6-0, 195-pound redshirt freshman Corey Dauphine. Each has assets on his ledger and areas in which he can improve.
