Tyson Fury has brushed aside renewed cheating accusations from Deontay Wilder, downplaying the claims years after their heavyweight rivalry appeared to be settled inside the ring.
The comments come after Deontay Wilder recently alleged that Fury cheated in two of their three fights, reigniting controversy surrounding one of boxing’s defining trilogies. This time, however, the accusations arrive as the two former champions move in very different directions.
Between 2018 and 2021, Tyson Fury and Wilder shared the ring three times, producing a split-decision draw in their first bout, a dominant Fury stoppage in the rematch, and a brutal 11th-round knockout in the trilogy fight that many believed closed the chapter for good.
