Marc Goddard will officiate the interim lightweight title bout atop UFC 324 on Saturday.
Referee and judging assignments for the UFC 324 main event were confirmed during a Nevada State Athletic Commission meeting on Tuesday. Goddard will be the third man in the cage for the showdown between Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett. He will earn $3,000 for the assignment.
Meanwhile, Mike Bell, Derek Cleary and Sal D’Amato will score bout from cageside. Each judge will be paid $2,600.
High Stakes
The Gaethje-Pimblett winner is expected to be in line to face undisputed lightweight king Ilia Topuria when “El Matador” is ready to return to active competition.
