GREENVILLE, N.C. – Memphis shot 54 percent from the field and Avery Woodson scored a season-high 20 points, as Memphis topped the East Carolina Pirates 83-53 in the final tune-up for the Tigers' American Athletic Conference Tournament appearance.
Woodson's six made three-pointers tied a career-high, while his 20 points are a season-best for the junior. Shaq Goodwin scored 17 points and pulled down a game-high eight rebounds. Dedric Lawson added 14 points, as Trahson Burrell scored 13 points with six assists and a career-high five steals.
