MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Five Memphis players scored double figures as the Tigers closed the Hall of Fame Classic with a convincing 94-68 win over previously undefeated Louisiana Tech Tuesday.
Senior Ricky Tarrant scored a game-high 19 points – including 17 in the first half – to lead Memphis (4-2) in front of 11,114 at FedExForum. Classmate recorded 18 points and 12 rebounds for his ninth career double-double, while and tallied 13 points apiece. registered a double-double of his own for the first time this season with 10 points and 11 boards in the victory.
The win marked the first time Memphis put five players in double digits since March 8, 2015 against Temple.
