MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Senior forward Cheyenne Creighton has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll after her performance this past week against Tennessee State and Little Rock.
In the home-opening overtime victory against Tennessee State, Creighton finished with her seventh career double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Creighton played in all 45 minutes of the game for Memphis to lead the Tigers in both categories. The 12 rebounds were one shy of matching her career-high previously set against Vanderbilt last year.
Against Little Rock Sunday afternoon, Creighton scored a career-high 28 points on 11-for-17 shooting including her first three-pointer of the 2017 season.
