Steven Gerrard was spotted Thursday morning entering the Melwood training ground in Liverpool. Naturally, the news of the injured midfielder traveling to England quickly blew up on social media, and Bruce Arena addressed the issue in training.
Allegedly Gerrard is receiving treatment for his oft-injured hamstring and will return next week, missing Sunday’s crucial match vs. the Houston Dynamo.

For the much-criticized Gerrard, there will continue to be plenty of questions surrounding the mystery of his absence: Is it really necessary to travel 3,000 miles away from Los Angeles to rehab a hamstring?
