Could it be true? Could Landon Donovan sign with Real Salt Lake? This is certainly a far out rumor, but low and behold, here we are.
Supposedly, according to our friends over at rslsoapbox.com and national soccer writer Charles Boehm, Landon Donovan and Real Salt Lake have been in contact with each other with no progress made.
After coming out of retirement to play with the Galaxy in September, Donovan finished out the regular season and became a mainstay in the starting XI into the playoffs.
Over Donovan’s two stints with the LA Galaxy, Donovan appeared in 254 league matches, scoring 112 goals.
