Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts uplifted Tanner Scott despite his disastrous outing against the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday.
Scott, after a strong start to the spring, has looked shaky in his last two appearances. He allowed his first earned runs of spring against the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday, and things only got worse against the Angels.
The southpaw lasted just 0.1 innings, allowing three hits and a walk as well as four runs. Roberts didn’t seem concerned, though, and revealed he’d likely be going to Scott during Monday’s game at Dodger Stadium as well.
