Wilmer Cabrera “takes full responsibility” for Dynamo blowing two goal lead

The game couldn’t have started any better for the Houston Dynamo. Cool weather, great atmosphere, and an early goal by forward Mauro Manotas. By the time the Orange and Minnesota United FC hit the locker rooms for the half, the Dynamo were up 2-0.

Then it just unraveled.

“75 minutes of this game, we were good,” Dynamo head coach Wilmer Cabrera said. “And then 10 minutes, we lost control of everything. The first 10 minutes of the second half, I didn’t recognize the guys.”

Just after the second half restart, the Loons’ Christian Ramirez found himself on the business end of cross from a corner kick – unmarked – putting away the header to make it 2-1.
