Will Bruin was back at BBVA Compass Stadium for the Dynamo's season opener on Saturday, but nothing was like it used to be.
Bruin was wearing a Seattle Sounders FC uniform. When he subbed into the game in the 76th minute he was trying to score against the team for which he is the No. 2 all-time leading scorer.
The forward never broke through, and Sounders FC left with a 2-1 loss in their first game since winning the MLS Cup championship in December.
"The result is disappointing, but it was a short offseason for all the guys and it was the first game of the year," Bruin said.
