Three Things We Learned: Houston Dynamo 0, New England Revolution 2

The Houston Dynamo lost their second road encounter of the year on Saturday afternoon, a 0-2 result at the New England Revolution. The loss drops the club to a 3-2-0 overall record (0-2-0 away) and a 2-5-5 record when playing at the Rev’s Gillette Stadium.

Here are three things that stood out from the match:

1. The attack was shutout.

The Revolution poured a bucket of cold water on the red-hot Dynamo attack that included the league’s leading goalscorer in Erick Torres. Torres four-game scoring streak also came to a halt as New England’s defense limited the Dynamo to a season-low five total shots.
