Three Dash games are among 23 games leaguewide that have had their kickoff times altered to ensure player and fan safety.
In a release sent Monday afternoon, the NWSL said the new schedule reduces the number of games during times of day when potential environment conditions such as high temperatures, humidity and solar radiation would be more prevalent throughout the summer months in the United States.
The Dash games affected are June 24 at Orlando, Aug. 5 at Portland and Sept. 23 against Chicago in Houston. All three games will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. instead of the originally scheduled 3 p.
