Recent home loss helps Dynamo realize they’re not invincible

The first 12 home games lifted the Dynamo to the top of the Western Conference standings.

The last one is part of the reason they’re below the playoff line for the second consecutive week.

That’s why the next one – Wednesday night against the LA Galaxy – has the Dynamo’s full attention. They cannot afford to drop points in the final four home games.

The Dynamo were in playoff position when they lost, 1-0, to the last-place Colorado Rapids at BBVA Compass Stadium on Sept. 9. It was the first game in which the Dynamo had been shut out in a home game.
