ORLANDO, Fla. -- Tyler Deric had his fourth shutout of the season as the Houston Dynamo and Orlando City SC drew 0-0 on Friday night.
Orlando City was held scoreless for a second straight game and has played to a draw in four of its last six games.
The teams combined for just four shots on goal, but the limited scoring chances picked up in the final minutes.
Giles Barnes hit the post on a breakaway in the 89th minute for Houston and on Orlando's counter-attack, Julio Baptista sailed a shot over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Cyle Larin intercepted a defensive header to the goalkeeper but Deric came out of his area to knock it away.
