The last two months have been frustrating for Dash midfielder Morgan Brian so when she finally got back to the pitch on Saturday she had reason to celebrate.
Brian made her season debut in the 2-0 loss to the Chicago Red Stars, subbing on in the 71st minute. It was her first game since suffering an MCL injury on March 7 while playing for the U.S. national team.
"I was a little nervous because when you come back from an injury it's always nerve-wracking," Brian said. "I felt great and it was good to get out there and kind of forget about it a little bit.
