Dynamo coaches and players are focused on the upcoming Western Conference finals, but the front office has turned at least some of its focus to the off-season, which will come fast and furious after the MLS Cup Final on Dec. 9.
The MLS Expansion Draft will be held on Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. Los Angeles FC will have an opportunity to add up to five players for their inaugural season in 2018. LAFC cannot select more than one player from an existing team.
Each existing club can protect 11 players. Generation adidas players and Homegrown players are automatically protected and do not have to be listed on their club’s protected list.
