The Dynamo have parted ways with several players since the end of Major League Soccer's regular season.
They might have only a partial say in the players they lose next.
MLS on Tuesday will hold an expansion draft for Atlanta United FC and Minnesota United FC, which will begin play in 2017. Each team will get up to five selections in the expansion draft but cannot take more than one player from any team.
The draft begins at 1 p.m. and will last about 30 minutes. Each team gets three minutes per pick.
MLS teams are allowed to protect 11 players from being chosen.
