Juan David Cabezas came all the way from Colombia to join the Dynamo in December excited to contribute immediately.
When it finally came time for the season opener, however, Cabezas could not play. Due to a one-game suspension from FIFA, he had to watch last weekend's victory over Seattle Sounders FC at BBVA Compass Stadium from the stands.
"From up there it's really complex," Cabezas said Thursday through a translator. "You suffer a lot. It is kind of hard. However, the spectacle that you experience is really nice. It's very different. I never lived anything like it.
