Houston's BBVA Compass Stadium this summer will be a host site for the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
The home of the Dynamo and Dash will host a Group A doubleheader on July 11. The teams will not be known until the tournament draw is held in early 2017.
Local fans will not get to see the United States or Mexico in Houston. The United States is the seeded team in Group B and Mexico in Group C.
The tournament will be played between July 7-26.
Houston has hosted Gold Cup matches each of the last six tournaments.
