The Houston Dynamo signed four players to the first team following the roster deadline earlier today. Midfielders Joseph Holland, the Dynamo’s first round draft pick in this year’s SuperDraft, homegrown product Memo Rodriguez along with defenders Taylor Hunter and George Malki all signed contracts to play for the Dynamo, although their roles on the team are still to be determined.
This move by the organization is notable as three of the players played for the Dynamo affiliate Rio Grande Valley FC Toros which solidifies the Dynamo’s faith in how the Toros are developing players – it is also of note as Head Coach Wilmer Cabrera had extended time with these players as their coach last season.
