The Houston Dynamo announced on Friday that they have re-signed DaMarcus Beasley. The defender has reportedly agreed to a one year deal with the club after his contract with the team expired at the end of the 2016 season. His return will mark his fourth season with the club. The left-back has played in 62 games and scored two goals in orange.

“I feel that DaMarcus is the best left back in the country, and he not only has experience but also has a great level of talent,” said Dynamo Head Coach Wilmer Cabrera in a team release.
