The Houston Dash return to BBVA to play the Boston Breakers on Sunday. It will be a battle between two of the bottom teams in the NWSL. The Dash saw their playoff hopes evaporate after Wednesday’s tie between the Western New York Flash and the Boston Breakers.
The Dash had been a tough team to face over the last couple of weeks up until Wednesday night when they fell 3-0 to the Portland Thorns. The Dash defense wasn’t able to hold up against the bruising attack from the Thorns. Allie Long scored on a set piece in the 26th minute to put the Dash down early.
