The National Women’s Soccer League announced the 2017 regular season schedule today, including the Houston Dash’s slate. The league schedule grows by four games this year, from 20 games to 24.
The Dash open the 2017 regular season against the Chicago Red Stars at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 15 at BBVA Compass Stadium. Kickoff time for this game was originally slated for 2 p.m., but was moved up an hour as the full league schedule was finalized. This is the only home game in April due to three-game road trip from April 22 to May 6.
The 12-game BBVA Compass Stadium schedule includes a game against each of the teams in the NWSL and two games against Christen Press, Julie Johnson and the Red Stars; Diane Matheson, Jessica Fishlock and Seattle Reign FC; and Rose Lavelle, Allysha Chapman and the Boston Breakers.
