One of the Dynamo's steadiest players has re-signed for at least one more season in Houston.
Midfielder Eric Alexander did not test the waters of free agency long before signing another contract with the Dynamo on Thursday.
The 2017 season was Alexander's first full year with the Dynamo. They acquired him in a trade with the Montreal Impact in the summer of 2016. Last season, he appeared in 12 games with 11 starts. He missed more than six months due to a strained MCL in his right knee on May 6.
Alexander, 29, led the team in passing percentage at 86.
