In a move that shows her trust in club leadership during uncertain times, forward Rachel Daly has signed a new contract with the Dash.
Daly is the first player to sign a new contract since the end of the 2017 season. She picked the Dash over offers from European clubs despite the fact president Chris Canetti’s search for a new coach has gone on much longer than he hoped.
Daly’s new contract is the same as a majority of other NWSL contracts – a one-year deal with a club option for a second year.
