Former Dash midfielder and U.S. national team regular Morgan Brian on Monday was introduced as one of the newest players for French club Olympique Lyonnais.
The club reported a 2 ½-year deal for Brian.
Brian's transfer completes the August trade in which the Dash sent Brian to the Chicago Red Stars in exchange for fellow midfielder Kristie Mewis and future considerations.
Had Brian remained on Chicago's roster for the 2018 season or played outside the NWSL and returned at any point in 2018, the Dash would have received another player from the Red Stars.
Mewis remains on the Dash roster for 2018 while Brian played 85 minutes over two games during the five-game span she was with Chicago.
