A return to MLS for the 2017 proved fruitful for Vicente Sanchez. Now the 37-year old Dynamo forward will take some time to decide if he wants to come back next season.
Sanchez rose to prominence with Mexican club Toluca from 2001-2007, scoring 85 goals in 242 matches. He played in Germany with Schalke from 2008-10 before returning to Mexico with Club America from 2010-12.
Sanchez played for the Colorado Rapids from 2013-15, which is where he met Dynamo coach Wilmer Cabrera. When Cabrera wanted to add veteran leadership to his roster, he called Sanchez, who was playing for Defensor Sporting in his hometown of Montevideo, Uruguay.
