Dynamo's Joe Holland brings energy in MLS debut

Joe Holland waited for this for five months. There was no way he was not going to give everything he had.

The Dynamo rookie midfielder made his energetic MLS debut Wednesday night in the team's 2-0 loss to the Philadelphia Union. Holland, the No. 10 pick in January's MLS Super Draft, subbed on for Romell Quioto in the 78th minute at Talen Energy Stadium.

Holland had played well in the preseason games against MLS clubs and in two appearances with Rio Grande Valley FC. He even scored his first professional goal with the Toros.

He was ready for his first shot in an MLS game.
