Dynamo's Eric Alexander returns to training after knee injury

After nearly three months of rehabilitation for a knee injury, Dynamo midfielder Eric Alexander took a significant step forward this week.

Alexander on Monday returned to training for the first time since suffered an MCL sprain in his right knee on May 6 against Orlando City SC.

He was given a timeline of 8-12 weeks to return. Saturday will mark 12 weeks since the injury. Alexander said his knee is 'pretty much good to go now.'

"It is just a matter of getting fit and getting back with the team, working back into the system," Alexander said.
