Eric Alexander is finally back in the Dynamo lineup.
The veteran midfielder on Saturday played his first minutes since injuring his knee on May 6. Alexander subbed on in the 52nd minute when Boniek Garcia left with an injury of his own.
He played the final 38 minutes of the back-and-forth game against New York City FC that ended, 1-1.
"I haven't played in a while so it was nice to get back on the field with the guys," Alexander said. "It was a tough game, but it felt good."
Alexander started eight of the first nine games before his knee injury.
