Dynamo's DaMarcus Beasley called up for World Cup Qualifers

Once retired from the international game, DaMarcus Beasley firmly appears to be in coach Bruce Arena's plans for the U.S. Men's National Team at one of its most crucial stages.

The 34-year old Dynamo defender on Wednesday was called up to the USMNT for upcoming World Cup Qualifiers against Honduras and Panama. Considering the team's spot at the bottom of the Hexagonal table, the games are pivotal in their attempt to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Beasley is the only American ever to play in four World Cups. It is a long way off, but if Beasley appears in a fifth, he would be the fourth player in world history ever to do so.
