Houston may have seen its top attacking midfielder take a step in that direction Wednesday night.
After being benched for two games, Alex returned to the starting XI against the Montreal Impact and scored the second goal of the 3-1 victory.
In addition to that, he completed 10 passes in the final third and 19 more in the attacking half.
