Dynamo sign 37-year old forward Vicente Sanchez

The Dynamo have acquired plenty of young talent this offseason. This week they signed a player who is quite the opposite.

Vicente Sanchez is 37 years old.

Sanchez comes to the Dynamo from Defensor Sporting in his native country of Uruguay. Before that he played three seasons with the Colorado Rapids. He also played two seasons for Schalke in the German Bundesliga.

Much of his success came with Toluca and Club America – two of the most storied clubs in Mexico.
Sanchez scored 85 goals in 242 appearances with Toluca from 2001-07. He scored 11 goals in 49 games with America from 2010-12.
