Dynamo select Seattle full back Dylan Remick in stage one of the MLS Re-Entry Draft

Stage one of the MLS Re-Entry Draft was today, and the Dynamo, with the second pick, was one of three MLS clubs to select a player.

Dylan Remick, an MLS Cup champion with Seattle last season, will be coming to Houston.

Remick is a 25-year old left back who played 500 minutes this season, starting six of the 11 matches for which he was healthy. The Illinois native joined the Sounders in 2013 after a successful collegiate career.

The acquisition of Remick could possibly signal the end of DaMarcus Beasley’s career in Houston.

The Dynamo's pick of Dylan Remick is a pretty good sign the club does not plan to re-sign fellow left back DaMarcus Beasley.
