Now that they have qualified for the playoffs, the Dynamo can play their final regular season game free from pressure.
That doesn't mean they don't have anything to play for.
The Dynamo (12-10-11) can be no worse than the No. 5 seed in the six-team Western Conference playoff bracket. They could finish as high as No. 3.
The Nos. 3 and 4 seeds get to host first-round playoff games. The No. 5 seed has to play on the road.
To finish higher in the final standings, the Dynamo first must defeat the Chicago Fire in Sunday's regular season finale at BBVA Compass Stadium.
