The Dynamo have made their mark on MLS this season with their ability to score goals. They're about to leave an imprint in the club's record books, too.
By scoring 46 goals through their first 26 games, the Dynamo are two goals away from tying the team record of 48 goals scored in a single season. They did that in 2012, the second of two consecutive seasons going to the MLS Cup final.
Saturday's home game against the last-place Colorado Rapids seems like a perfect opportunity to tie or even break the record. The Dynamo (10-8-8) have not lost at home.
