The Dynamo picked the perfect time to reach their best form in six years. If they want to extend that run, their biggest obstacle may not be their next opponent.
It could be the fact that they’re playing nobody at all for such a long time.
When the first leg of the Western Conference finals against Seattle Sounders FC kicks off on Nov. 21, the Dynamo will have gone 16 days without playing a game due to a FIFA break that allows for the conclusion of World Cup Qualifying.
The Dynamo are unbeaten in their last nine games – something they have not done since 2011.
