The Dynamo will debut a new coach and lots of new players in Saturday's opener, but there will be no easing into the season.
They need to hit the ground running if they want to get all three points.
Houston plays host to reigning MLS Cup champion Seattle Sounders FC at BBVA Compass Stadium. Seattle is fully loaded. The Dynamo are embracing the opportunity.
"When the schedule came out, we were really excited to have the champs coming to Houston the first week," goalkeeper Tyler Deric said. "It is exciting to test yourself against the reigning champs.
