With the season on the precipice of slipping away and opportunities to add points waning, Dynamo coach Wilmer Cabrera challenged his defense.

The Dynamo defense has not been dominant, but more often than not it was doing well enough to keep the team in games. It gave the team a chance to win on most nights.
That was not the case leading up to Saturday's 2-1 victory Minnesota United FC. The Dynamo had conceded the first goal in four consecutive games and had received early goals in several of them. In last week's game against the LA Galaxy, the Dynamo conceded twice in the first 12 minutes.
