The biggest team aspect Dynamo coach Wilmer Cabrera has preached in his first season is mentality.
Cabrera expects the team to be tough mentally, to work hard and to expect big things from themselves. He said he was especially happy with their mentality in Saturday’s 3-1 win over D.C. United.
The Dynamo already were playing without leading scorers Erick Torres, Alberth Elis and Romell Quioto. Then, during warmups, defender DaMarcus Beasley felt tightness in his left hamstring and had to sit out. Dylan Remick, like he has throughout this season, filled in admirably.
