The Dynamo dressed in their home locker room, wore their home orange jerseys and played in their home stadium, but for all intents and purposes they may as well have been the visiting team in their latest fixture.
Houston on Sunday night played to a 0-0 draw with Liga MX's Chivas de Guadalajara in a friendly before 14,872 red-and-white-clad fans at BBVA Compass Stadium.
Chuly Sports secured Chivas for a friendly and Houston's stadium for the match. It later invited the Dynamo to be the opponent.
The crowd was heavily in favor of Chivas. A supporters' group made large signs and waved flags while chanting and singing throughout the game.
