The MLS postseason has had its share of exciting games, but the one that could have been more exciting than them all was a snoozer Monday night in Houston.
Field conditions at BBVA Compass Stadium played a major role in the attacks and counter attacks of the Dynamo and Portland Timbers grinding to a relative halt in the first leg of their Western Conference semifinal series.
They were the top two scoring teams in the Western Conference and scored 10 goals in two regular season games played against one another. They scored none on Monday.
