CARSON, Calif. -- The Houston Dynamo came into Friday’s tilt with the LA Galaxy looking not only for a result, but also to get their first win on the road this season.
Neither happened though, as Steven Gerrard’s 66th-minute goal was enough to get LA the 1-0 victory at StubHub Center.
Dynamo interim head coach Wade Barrett said after the game that he knew that if his squad had one lapse in concentration, the Galaxy would make them pay.
“This is a team that you can’t really have a lack of concentration, for any play, over the course of a night,” Barrett told reporters.
