Rookie forward Rachel Daly scored early on Saturday night to give the Dash their first goal in more than two months. Most importantly, it also sparked a 3-0 victory over league-leading Portland Thorns FC at BBVA Compass Stadium and snapped a six-game losing streak.
Houston had lost all six of those games by the score of 1-0.
The Dash (3-7-1) came into the game scoreless in their last six full games and for the last 560 minutes overall. That was one minute shy of the NWSL record.
