Rachel Daly's loss could be the Dash's gain, especially if Daly takes out her international disappointment on the rest of the NWSL.
Daly, the second-year Dash forward from Harrogate, was not named to England's roster for this summer's European Championships. It was a crushing blow because she had been getting regular call-ups to represent her national team since last summer.
"It hit me," Daly said Wednesday. "It still hasn't really sunk in that I was not selected. It is a learning curve for me. I am only 25. I have time on my hands. Where there is a negative you can get a positive.
