The Dash finally found some offense in the last three games. On Saturday night, however, it came at the expense of the defense.
Houston was clinging to a one-goal lead when it conceded in the third minute of second half added time, dropping two precious points in a 3-3 draw with visiting Western New York Flash at BBVA Compass Stadium.
The Dash (3-7-3) led, 3-1, after Kealia Ohai scored the second of her two goals in the 63rd minute. Western New York (8-5-2) scored in the 70th minute and again just moments before the final whistle.
The result does not end but does put a damper on the Dash's hopes of building momentum heading into the final seven games of the season.
