The Dash will open 2017 with a home game, but after that they hit the road often during the first half of the season.
The NWSL on Wednesday released the 24-game schedules for each of its 10 teams, revealing that Houston also will face only four teams during its first eight games.
The Dash kick off the schedule on April 15 against the Chicago Red Stars at BBVA Compass Stadium. Then they play three consecutive road games before returning to Houston for their second home game on May 13.
Over the first two months the Dash will play Chicago, Seattle Reign FC, Washington Spirit and Sky Blue FC two times apiece before they plan any of the league's other five teams.
