In one of many oddities in the kooky NWSL schedule, the Dash face the Chicago Red Stars for the second time in the season's first four weeks.
The Dash won the season opener, 2-0, at BBVA Compass Stadium. The rematch is at 3 p.m. Saturday at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Ill. It will air live on Lifetime.
Like many others, Dash coach Randy Waldrum is not a fan of playing a team twice in a short window. The scheduling quirks do not end here. Houston's next two games are against Sky Blue FC. In July, the Dash face the Orlando Pride in back-to-back weeks.
