One month seems like a good time to check in with a team and determine if the season is off to a good or a bad start. In the case of the Dash, however, the early grade still would be an incomplete.
Through the first four games, the midfield has been a patchwork job while starters Andressa and Morgan Brian have nursed injuries. Andressa (hamstring) started the season opener on April 15 and has not played since. Brian (knee) made her season debut last weekend when she played the final 19 minutes.
Asked to assess the performance of the midfield so far, coach Randy Waldrum said it would not be fair.
